I am a Devon based Natural Horsemanship Instructor covering the South West of England, and will travel to you. I work with you and your horse in a familiar environment, this means the least amount of stress for all involved. I cover all aspects of care for the horse and work with all levels of competence. Horses as prey animals need a relationship based on trust and leadership, I can help build the bond between you and your horse that will transform the relationship and trust you have together.
I have been teaching people now for seven years and my core objective is to encourage a fulfilling relationship with owners and their horses through an understanding of the
horses natural behaviour
I will talk to you on the telephone getting a brief outline of the sort of progress you would like to make or any issues that you might have. I will then travel to meet you and your horse where a lot of the first lesson will be spent talking about horse behavior and how we can translate that into what it means to you to begin a deep and honest relationship with your horse.
Following this will be essential lessons on groundskills which will form the foundations of your progressive relationship with your horse.When there is a good trust and understanding between you and your horse you will begin riding and working towards any goals you may have, whether that is competing or simply enjoying each others company on relaxing hacks.
