I Live in the beautiful Devon countryside with my 3 dogs and a cat, and have worked full time with horses for the last 20 years, I currently care for and exercise at least 4 horses a day and teach 3 clients a day in two hour slots, working six days a week.

I trained as an instructor for the BHS but my natural inquisitiveness took me further and I sought out different instructors and experiences to expand my knowledge. I have worked in every equine disipline in this country. Raced point to point, worked in hunt service, show ponies, hunters, hacks and side saddle. Driving trials, Polo ponies and eventing. I was searching for an approach that I knew was still missing and this took me to Kelly Marks Intelligent Horsemanship where I gained my level One Certificate.

I followed this by studying with Heather Moffat learning the classical way of riding and learning all about her incredible saddles and fitting. Still searching I found Parelli Natural Horsemanship and Sue Gardner, this took me to new heights with my relationship with the horse and understanding horse Psychology, and was working at level three when in 2001 I found the instructor who became my present teacher and mentor Ken Faulkner of Australian Natural Horsemanship.

I have been teaching his methods for seven years now and use the valuable experience I have gained as an essential resource that i draw from.

Using the Horses own language of Herd behaviour and body movement, I can help my pupils gain a much better understanding of their equine partner.

I absolutely love my work which is the place where my learning continues with every horse and every owner.
